Tom Bragg is an accomplished screenwriter who currently resides in NYC. He's written several feature length and short scripts in all genres of film. Many of his shorts have been produced by independent production companies based in NYC.

"THE SMILING STRANGERS", a horror short film written & directed by Tom Bragg, has been accepted into the 10th annual New York CITY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. The festival will take place February 25 - March 1.

Tom's short script "THE SMILING STRANGERS" took home 2nd place from 35 finalists at the ZED FEST FILM FESTIVAL and SCREENWRITING COMPETITION! in December!

In December, Mike Funk won Best Actor at the NORTHEAST FILM FESTIVAL HORROR FEST for his role in "PHOTOKILL"!

"PHOTOKILL" was nominated for Best Film at the NORTHEAST FILM FESTIVAL HORROR FEST in December!

"PHOTOKILL", written by Tom Bragg, won Best Thriller at the FANTASTIC HORROR FILM FESTIVAL in San Diego in October!

Lauren A. Kennedy received the Best Actress in a horror film award for "PHOTOKILL" in October at the CUTTING ROOM INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL!

In August, Mike Funk won Best Actor for "TO BE NORMAL" at the BRIGHTSIDE FILM FESTIVAL!

"TO BE NORMAL", written by Tom, won Best Film at the NEW YORK CITY POPUP FILM FESTIVAL in August!

Tom's short script "CRAZY FOR THE BLONDE" was named Best Short Screenplay at the CALIFORNIA UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL!

On June 6th, TO BE NORMAL was nominated for Best Film and Best Actor, Mike Funk, at the JERSEY CITY POPUP FILM FESTIVAL!

Tom took home the BEST UNPRODUCED SCREENPLAY award for his script LAYERS at the HANG ONTO YOUR SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL on April 22nd in Asbury Park, NJ!

On April 22nd, PHOTOKILL received the award for Best Horror Film at the HANG ONTO YOUR SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL!

On April 4th, Mike Funk took home the Best Actor Award at the POINT LOOKOUT FILM FESTIVAL! "PHOTOKILL" was also nominated for Best Drama and Lauren A. Kennedy was nominated for Best Actress!

On a visit to Florida, a has-been rock star in his mid 30s comes up with the idea to resurrect his career by creating and becoming the character, STERLING STEVE, a hip 72-year-old crooner, and takes the senior club scene by storm.

The Real Steal  - (action/comedy) w/Jim Harkins

After LUD PAULSEN gets canned from his job and dumped by his girlfriend, he discovers a priceless jewel hidden in the hubcap of his car. But the treasure quickly turns to a curse as he's thrust into a 24-hour chase involving a battalion of STATE TROOPERS, ANGRY RUSSIANS and a dysfunctional FAMILY of JEWEL THIEVES.

After the passing of crime boss Lorenzo Santino, his overprotected 62-year-old wife is forced to search for her own identity, while their two bumbling sons attempt to keep control over the 'family business.'

of his struggle against the addiction that's controlling his life. 
But after losing faith in others to understand his problem, he slowly begins to unravel, showing glimpses of his old ways. Will he catch himself before falling any deeper? Or give into the urge rising to the surface?

A thief on the run from drug dealers finds his escape in the form of a kooky taxi driver.

STIFF - directed by Tom Bragg (2010) "STIFF"

This quirky horror short was written and directed by Tom Bragg and was produced by Kins Productions. Jim Harkins plays in the lead role.

     

A lonely man's relationship with a female mannequin named Cathy begins to unravel. Soon Cathy will find out just how hard love can be.

Ten To Eternity - (comedy)

Shot by Tom and written by Jim Harkins, this film was an official selection in the 2011 Staten Island Film Festival.

As Sam Taylor settles in for a late night snack, he is visited by The Archangel Ralph, the bearer of bad news. When Sam learns he only has minutes left to live, the disgruntled Ralph, who's been on the job for centuries, attempts to shed some light on what happens in our final moments.

 Whatever Goes TV - (sketch comedy)

The one-hour pilot episode was co-written and directed by Tom and its star Steve DiGennaro. It premiered on July 18th, 2011 at Vola restaurant in NYC.
